I just got the Moto G myself and I must say that it is a fantastic phone. One of the things that stick out about this phone is the brilliant display. The phone itself is quite sleek and fits rather comfortably in my hand. There are so many other things that are great about this phone that really make it worth the money.

Many would say that the storage is an issue, but then again for the first two years you have access to about 50GB worth of space on Google Drive, which is pretty awesome.

There are other phones out there--Sony, LG, Micromax and all, but there is something about the way google markets its products or just their informal approach to things (those who use chrome will understand).

Moto G is cool but doesn't have expandable capablity as they made an announcement that they will include this feature in coming time so it'll be prety cool to wait for some time

Moto G fits your prize range get the 16GB version though if your looking to buy it now. But if you can wait then wait for Flipkart to stock the MOTO-G with expandable memory like the guy posted above.
