Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 is coming

Cheap The Division Credits A sequel to Tom Clancy’s The Division is coming according to what looks to be a news release that evidently went out early to a German-language business news website.The post references a logo (above) that is hosted on a Ubisoft website. In the news release Julian Gerighty the creative director of Massive Entertainment says the studio is working on Tom Clancy’s The Division 2. Massive is leading an effort that involves five other studios: Ubisoft Annecy Redstorm Reflections Ubisoft Bucharest and Ubisoft Shanghai.

No launch date for The Division 2 was specified nor were platforms though Massive said that it will once again build the game with the Snowdrop Engine that powered the original game. Tom Clancy’s The Division launched March 8 2016 on PlayStation 4 Windows PC and Xbox One.Yesterday the official Twitter feed for The Division said news about the series was coming today via a Twitch livestream in roughly 10 minutes.

The news release said that The Division will receive two more title updates Buy The Division Credits with a specific set of achievements called “Crests”coming in June that will allow players to unlock rewards in The Division 2.The news release said more information about the game will come at this year’s E3 in June.“It wasn’t an easy decision but there are so many stories and so many experiences that we wanted to explore within the world of The Division that we felt a sequel was the best way to explore these things,” he said.
